J. L. Garrah says: Michigan Backroads is my journey, thoughts & feelings taken straight from the notes in my phone. I started writing poems about a girl, and just kept going. It chronicles my path from southern Ontario, Canada, to Northern Michigan, all for love. It’s our story, or at least part of it, from my perspective. I don’t often find myself or others I identify with in literature. This collection of poems was written by a woman for a woman she loved, and I hope that people can read this, and realize that it doesn’t have to be a story of boy meets girl to be a story of true love and happiness.
