Profound Simplicity is a book of poems that speaks to life and about life in a simple yet, profound way. The poems tackle topics such as family, friendships advocating for those who need it, the state of the world, and coming to terms with our own humanity and mortality. These poems challenge us to look within ourselves and find our best selves, encouraging all of us to do better and be better people.

From the poem, Looking Back

There’s no sense in looking back
If only pain and stultifying sadness
Begins to fill your fragile psyche
And brings you closer to deep dark madness
But if looking back does serve to soothe
And helps you see how much you did achieve
Then celebrate and still look back
And your past you’ll not choose to grieve
